Nicole Richie reportedly pregnant

First it was Christina Aguilera and now Nicole Richie seems to be the next one to be bitten by the baby bug. While her reps still have no comments about rumors of the heiress' pregnancy, the website TMZ.com claims that both Richie and boyfriend Joel Madden have been confirming the buzz independently and that a wedding would also follow as soon as this summer.

Richie's father, musician Lionel Richie, assured Access Hollywood that he doesn't know any better than everyone else. "Nicole is probably one of those wonderful people that will not tell her father until I keep going, 'Come on Nic. I'm your father. What's going on?'" said Richie. "She'll let me know about it at the very last minute."

Nicole Richie is facing DUI charges stemming from her arrest last December. The starlet is scheduled for a court date on July 11, and if convicted she could face up to five years in jail.
