Isaiah Washington to star on Bionic Woman
He might have been fired from ABC, but Isaiah Washington wasn't unemployed for long.
The former "Grey's Anatomy" star just signed on to co-star in the new NBC series "Bionic Woman."
Washington will be a part of at least five episodes of what is expected to be the network's strongest shot for the fall. He will play an outsider, introduced to the story early on, that may help or take down the main character.
As to Washington's fallout last season with the cast of "Grey's Anatomy" that included his use of an anti-gay slur, the producers of the "Bionic Woman" are not concerned about the audience holding grudges.
"He's a totally awesome actor," said Ben Silverman co-chair of NBC. "He's put that behind him. Let's give him a chance to do what he does."
