Jim Carrey's new film to begin shooting in October

Jim Carrey has signed on to a new role in the Warner Bros. comedy "Yes Man." According to media reports the film, based on memories of a British author Danny Wallace, who aims to change his life by saying yes to everything that comes his way, will be directed by Peyton Reed and produced by David Heyman and Richard Zanuck.

Carrey is completing the animated film "Horton Hears A Who" for which he is the voice of Horton the elephant. The film will be released in March 2008. Carry is also expecting to star in Disney's "A Christmas Carol." The comedian is also considering a third movie to do before next year, but nothing has been chosen yet. "Yes Man" is expected to start filming in October.
