Naomi Watts to be in next Potter flm

Naomi Watts has signed on to be in next Potter installment

According to the Courier-Mail, Naomi Watts may have been cast in the next Harry Potter movie along aside Joseph Fiennes and Stuart Townsend. Reports say Watts has signed on for a role in "Harry Potter and the Half-Blooded Prince," starring Narcissa Malfoy.

The roles Fiennes and Townsend will play were not disclosed to the paper and no sources about casting news were cited. However, the Courier reveals that Steve Kloves will transform J.K Rowlings novel. Though no director has been confirmed yet, David Yates, who directed the latest Potter flick, "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix," has been rumored to be the front-runner.

"Harry Potter and the Half-Blooded Prince" is the sixth installment of the fantasy series. The film is in pre-production with a November 21, 2008 planned release.
