Jay Leno Replaces Lohan With Comedian
So what is a talk show host to do if his guest was booked on cocaine possession and suspicion of a DUI the morning she was supposed to appear? Get a widely known comedian to impersonate and make fun of the guest of course. Lindsay Lohan was scheduled to appear on "The Tonight Show" with Jay Leno last night before her insanely public DUI debacle. Leno had comedian Rob Schneider dress up in a black dress and blond wig with an alcohol monitoring bracelet attached to his foot.
Barbara Walters of the view called the spectacle mean. Her costar Elizabeth Hasselbeck had a different view though. She didn't think that the display was mean, "when a person who's drinking gets behind the wheel of a car when 43-thousand people a year are killed by drunk drivers." Kelly Ripa, co-host of "Live With Regis and Kelly," said that Lohan should see "the physical agony a person lives with" after being hit by a drunken driver. Ripa also would like to have a conversation with Lohan about "wasting opportunities and what a blessing it is each day just to get up in the morning and to be healthy." she also said that "it's very sad" and she's "very concerned for all of these girls that are making the news lately."
