Amy Winehouse checks out of rehab

Amy Winehouse checks out of clinic at request of husband

Singer Amy Winehouse after allegedly overdosing on a mix of ecstasy, cocaine, ketamine and alcohol was rushed to a hospital last week. Winehouse checked into Essex's The Causeway clinic, but checked herself out just 48 hours later.

"Oh my God, what the hell happened last week?" Winehouse, 23, said outside of her home. "I'm fine don't worry. The singer has been ordered by doctors to have a brain scan and will be taking tests with specialists, who believe the seizure Winehouse had last week was caused by epilepsy.

According to reports, the singer's husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, convinced his new wife to leave the clinic so they could return to "normality."

Winehouse's father, Mitch, is reportedly furious with his daughter for leaving rehab and is trying to get her away from her husband.

"Mitch is desperate for Amy to get some proper lengthy treatment but she'll only do it with Blake." A source said. "Mitch even looked to see if he could get a restraining order against him but legally it's impossible."

According to the source, Mitch blames his daughter's husband for her problems.
