Myspace.com and MTV In Joint Effort to Present Presidential Prospects
The 2008 presidential race is heating up, and the candidates are well aware that any positive exposure will be useful. MTV and popular networking website Myspace have announced a joint effort to present a number of presidential candidates to the youth who will be voting, come November. According to The Boston Globe, the candidates will be interviewed on college campuses. In addition, according to the Boston Globe, "students on site and viewers will be able to submit questions, and live online polling will gauge reaction." The article states that participating members so far include Sam Brownback, John Edwards, John McCain, Bill Richardson, Mitt Romney, Chris Dodd, Rudy Giuliani, Ron Paul, Barack Obama, and Hillary Clinton. The first interview will be on September 27th, and is slated to take place in New Hampshire, itself a noted location for presidential contenders.
