Owen Wilson Will Not Appear in New Comedy

Owen Wilson will not be appearing in the new and upcoming comedy, "Tropical Thunder." According to the Associated Press, Wilson was slated to have a cameo in the Jack Black comedy, but with his current situation, will not be making that appearance. According to an article in Forbes, popular film industry Paul Dergarabedian mused over Wilson's continued prospects as a working actor in the near future, commenting that "Certainly it presents a challenge if you have a film toplined by a star who's having a troubled situation. It would give most marketing executives pause... everyone's trying to be sensitive to what he's going through." Wilson has two films set to be released within the next six months, "Darjeeling Limited" and "Drillbit Taylor." Wilson was recently in the news after it became publicly known that the actor was rushed to the hospital for what was apparently a botched suicide attempt.
