The Elusive New iPod

Apple's newest technological toy has been unveiled.

Steve Jobs' newest toy has at last been unveiled to the public. The new iPod was revealed on the evening of September 5th, according to an article in The Independent. According to the article, the newest version of the iPod has a "3.5in touch-screen and integrated wi-fi connection, allowing users to connect to the internet from an iPod for the first time." Users can still use iTunes with the new iPod, which has also been compared closely to the new iPhone, both in function and appearance. New versions of the iPod Nano and the iPod Shuffle were announced, as were scheduled upgrades to the existing models, such as the new Nanogetting a "2.5in screen for watching movies and playing games." In addition, consumers will have more variety, as the Nano will also now come in up to five different colors. Shares in Apple have been rising, and analysts are predicting a profitable year for Apple in i-merchandise sales.
