Shaquille O'Neal filed for divorce from his wife of nearly five years, Shaunie, in Miami the other day claiming "the marriage between the parties is irretrievably broken," reports People.com.

O'Neal and his wife, Shaunie, have been married since 2002 and have four children together, and one of their own from previous relationships, according to Boston Herald.com.

The couple have prenuptial agreements, which was revealed through claims in a petition made by O'Neal.
