High School Musical star gets undressed!

High School Musical star, Vanessa Hudgens has apologized to fans for the nude pictures of her that have been leaked all over the internet. 18-year-old Hudgens has asked her fans for forgiveness and said the situation has left her embarrassed. "I want to apologize to my fans, whose support and trust means the world to me," Hudgens said in a statement.

The racy pictures, which were taken by Hudgen's 19 year old boyfriend and Co-Star Zac Efron, show the actress in various positions and well as in the nude.

Hudgens portrayed the bookworm love interest of Troy, the basketball star played by Zac Efron in the first two made-for-cable "High School Musical" movies, which generated profits of over $1 billion dollars for the Walt Disney Company, making it the most successful show over the last two years.

The release of the images could pose trouble for Hudgens, who is currently in negotiations for a third "High School Musical" film.

The Disney Channel denied in a published report that Hudgens will be dropped from the upcoming feature film and said they support the teen star 100%.
