Halo 3 Released Tonight at Midnight
Gamepro announces, "There's no denying it. Halo 3 is the biggest video game in History." After the long three year wait, thousands of fans will test that statement tonight at midnight when the game goes on sale. But how will the third game in the Halo trilogy compare with the first two?
Three years after it came out, Halo 2 still ranks among the most popular multiplayer games on the Xbox 360. Halo 3 picks up where the second one left off and is a new place for Bungie, the Microsoft owned studio behind the series, to introduce new weapons, items and vehicles.
The game also has a host of new multiplayer features, including a "saved films" feature that allows the ability to save and share movies of every battle. So what people want to know is has it been worth the wait? The answer most critics are giving is "yes."
Microsoft executives predict that the game will set an entertainment record for its one day take.
