24 star arrested for drunk driving
Kiefer Sutherland was arrested for drunk driving in L.A.
According to BBC News, actor Kiefer Sutherland was arrested in Los Angeles when he was found to be over the legal alcohol limit following a breath test.
The "24" star was stopped by Los Angeles police after he made a illegal U-turn. He was released Tuesday on a bail of $25,000. Sutherland won an Emmy award last year for his role as a anti-terrorist officer, Jack Bauer, in the drama series "24."
The hit series also won best drama at the 2006 Emmy awards ceremony. Plans to make a major motion picture based on the series are in the works.
Sutherland is scheduled to appear in court on October 16 to face his drunk driving charges.
