DVD Dribble
Some more television programs are making their way to DVD. The following DVDs contain either the first or second seasons of some popular shows.
"It's a bird. It's a plane." It's young Superman who is starting off this edition of the DVD Dribble. "Smallville - The Complete Sixth Season" continues to follow the lives of young Clark Kent and Lex Luther. The DVD is available in regular DVD, HD DVD, and Blu-ray. It does not contain any special features.
The animated movie "Wayside" is based on the book by Louis Sachar about what happens in a school that is made up of thirty floors. There are no special features on this DVD either.
"Drawn Together - Season 2" is another animated DVD. Just like the first season, the second season of the Comedy Central series parodies reality television. Like the two previous DVDs on this list, there are no special features on this DVD.
There's more animation in the "Rick & Steve - Season 1" DVD. The Logo series featuring the voices of Alan Cummings and Margaret Cho is a comedy about a gay couple whose lesbian friend wants one of them to father her child. This DVD also doesn't have any special features.
Season four of the animated series "Samurai Jack" is now on DVD. In the show, a young boy trains as a samurai to get rid of an evil wizard. The two-disc "Samurai Jack - Season 4" DVD has a featurette.
An FBI agent and his mathematical genius brother help solve crimes in "Numb3rs." The "Numb3ers - The Third Season" DVD consists of six discs with no special features.
The 1950's/60's series "The Untouchables" is now available on DVD. Season one comes in two volumes, which can either be bought separately or together. Together, it's an eight-disc set of the special agent team fighting crime in 1930's Chicago. There are no special features on this DVD either.
"College Hill - Virginia State University" follows the lives of students at the school. The BET series DVD is made up of two discs that contain all thirteen episodes of the show. It also has deleted scenes, cast auditions, and a "Spring Bling" featurette.
Just a few months after season one became available on DVD, "Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends - The Complete Season 2" is now in stores. The show's second season is made up of two discs and is about a young boy who brings his imaginary friend to a home with tons of other imaginary friends. The special features include a featurette, gag reel, music video, and photo gallery.
Jennifer Love-Hewitt's show about a woman who communicates with dead people is the last DVD in this Dribble. "Ghost Whisperer - The Second Season" is a six disc set that does not have any special features.
This DVD Dribble was made up of a variety of television show DVDs. Most of the DVDs only contained the show and no other special features.
