The Hills is fake? Who knew?

Recent cast member Gavin Beasley reports that MTV’s reality-drama The Hills is indeed fake.
In an exclusive interview with Best Week Ever, Gavin Beasley -– Lauren Conrad’s date on October 22nd’s episode -– revealed just how fake MTV’s reality-TV phenomenon "The Hills" really is.
Beasley -- a model and actor -- claims not only is the show scripted, but producers purposefully setup events and scenes where drama can ensue.
Take, for example, the scene at Brody Jenner’s barbecue on this Monday’s episode of "The Hills." “[MTV] totally set up the BBQ scene for Brody and I to meet each other and talk because, as they said, ‘the audience would get a kick out of seeing ‘the ex’ talking to ‘the new guy,’ Beasley tells BWE.
Adding more fuel to the fire, Beasley recalls another scene when a fellow party goer came up to him and Brody and Brody responds, “We’re trying to film a scene here. Do you mind?” as if he was interrupting the lines.
This recent interview may come as a disappointing shock to "The Hills" fans, but it is surely not the first time we have heard such accusations. In the past month, several sources have come out condemning "The Hills’" reality credibility.
An undisclosed source recently emailed celebrity blogger, Perez Hilton, describing a scene at a NYC restaurant where she says producers asked cast mates Lauren and Whitney to re-shoot the same scene several times.
"The Hills" airs Monday night at 10 p.m. on MTV.
