Fight After Fight on "I Love New York 2"
30-Oct-2007
Written by: Tiffani Cage

Really Fighting for her Love

It’s week four in the "I Love New York" mansion and violence is stirring between the men competing for New York’s love. In just one episode, viewers saw contestant Tailor Made get his life threatened -- not once, but twice. After getting on contestant Buddha’s nerves after the first three weeks, Buddha stepped to him and as New York put it, “yoked him up” on the stair case. America watched as Buddha pushed Tailor Made’s head into a wall, causing it to literally bounce off like a tennis ball. Because of his physical contact with Tailor Made, Buddha was cut from the show.

The mens' challenge this week was to take as much as they could from female fighters in a boxing ring. None of the men hit the women back; The Entertainer said he enjoyed it. While everyone had a teammate to share the 6-minute ring-time with, Tailor Made did not. He took on all six minutes by himself. Mr. Wise did too, leaving his teammate 20 Pack to watch from the sidelines. Later on, New York took 20 Pack and Mr. Wise to fancy dinner in the middle of a pool.

In the second half of the episode, Tailor Made was approached again for “snitching” on the other men in the household. One accusation he ran to New York with was that contestant Pretty was secretly gay. Getting offended by other rumors spread, contestant Mr. Wise approached him -– after Tailor Made had gotten off the phone with his mother -– and got spat at. The other men watched in shock as Mr. Wise flipped out and tried to fight Tailor Made. The cameramen had to get involved to calm him down. After the altercation, Tailor Made made his constant routine of running up the stairs to New York’s room to tell her what had happened. As soon as he said he spit in Mr. Wise’s face, she had a flashback of when Flavor of Love contestant Pumkin spit in her face. She flipped out on him, as well, and kicked him out of her room.

At the end of the show, New York said that she felt the decision-making wasn’t hers anymore, that the guys in the house are cutting each other out because of the violence going on. Tailor Made was told to turn around because she was disgusted to look at him, but also said that if she had let him go that night, then she would regret it in the morning because of their growing connection. 20 Pack was the man to leave the mansion that night. There are now eight men left to be chosen for New York’s affection.

"I Love New York 2" airs on Monday nights on VH1 at 9 p.m.
