The View at the Cotton

Harlem Scene for Halloween
The ladies of ABC’s "The View" put together a Cotton Club scene today to ring in Halloween. Whoopi Goldberg opened up the show dressed as late jazz singer Cab Calloway, singing his famous piece “Hi De Ho.” As Whoopi sang, Joy Behar swung back and forth in a red rope swing dressed in 1940s Harlem club attire. Sherri Shepherd was dressed as a flapper with a blond wig, and Barbara Walters made a fashionably late appearance in a black sparkly dress with a huge feathered headpiece.
Tony Bennett was the guest musician of the day and serenaded the audience -– who sat in what resembled the historical Cotton Club to a tee.
Audience members dressed in decorative costumes, from sexy lobsters to Santa Claus. The audience received a Halloween goodie bag full of Snickers, Twix and other snacks.
