Barack Obama's SNL Appearance
Presidential hopeful Barack Obama made a surprise appearance in the opening segment on "Saturday Night Live" last night. The sketch opened with Amy Poehler and Darrell Hammond playing the roles of Bill and Hillary Clinton hosting a Halloween party, reported the Associated Press. A man in an Obama mask arrived towards the end of the scene, taking off his mask to reveal Obama himself.
Obama responded to his opponent, "I enjoy being myself. I'm not going to change who I am just because it's Halloween." Earlier in the day, Obama was campaigning in South Carolina. He accused Hillary Clinton of giving voters "vague, calculated answers to suit the politics of the moment."
Obama closed out his role by opening the show with its signature line, "Live from New York, it's Saturday Night."
