Shia Arrested in Chicago

Shia LaBeouf, star of the blockbuster, "Transformers," was arrested late last night and charged with misdemeanor criminal trespassing after he refused to leave a Chicago Walgreens, reported the Associated Press.

LaBeouf appeared to be drunk and refused to leave the drug store when told to leave by a security guard. The guard detained the actor and called police at around 2:30 a.m., according to a Chicago police spokeswoman.

LaBeouf was not given a sobriety test because he was not driving. After the arrest, LaBeouf was "very courteous and polite" and posted bond by 7 a.m. He is scheduled to appear in Cook County court later this month.
