It's a boy for the Hasselbecks

The View co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck and her NFL quarterback husband, Tim of the Arizona Cardinals, welcomed a baby boy Friday morning.

ABC.com reported that the newest edition to the Hasselbeck family weighed in at 7-lb. 15-oz. Elisabeth Hasselbeck is expected to call into "The View" on Monday to announce the name.

This is the second child for the couple, who have a 2-year-old daughter, Grace.

According to People, Tim Hasselbeck said, "We're thrilled he arrived safely. Both mom and son are happy and healthy."

Elisabeth Hasselbeck announced her pregnancy on the show in April and went into early maternity leave in late October after she and her husband moved to Arizona.

She has pledged to return to the show, but no time has been determined.

Hasselbeck has been a co-host on the popular morning talk show since 2003, when she won a nationwide search to replace then co-host Lisa Ling.
