Debra Messing To Be Absent from Season Finale of Hit Show

Actress has been ordered by her doctor to stay off her feet until the birth of her child

An NBC spokesperson told reporters on Tuesday that Debra Messing, the actress who plays quirky Grace Adler on NBC's hit "Will and Grace," will not be a part of the last three episodes of the season due to her pregnancy.

Although there have not been any complications with the pregnancy thus far, E! Online reports that the Emmy-award-winning actress has been ordered by her doctor to stay off her feet until the birth of her first child, which is due sometime in April.

Despite the pregnancy not being written into the show, the noticeably fuller-faced actress continued to work throughout the season, sporting baggy clothes instead of the form fitting designer duds viewers were accustomed to seeing on the normally-svelte actress.

Messing, who starred in NBC's short-lived sitcom "Ned and Stacy" before reaching stardom with "Will and Grace," has several movie projects lined up to keep her busy after she gives birth, including two animated features. She is also set to star in "Something Borrowed," opposite Dermot Mullrooney.

The season finale of "Will and Grace" will air on April 29th.
