Drew Peterson Featured in People Magazine

Media Sensation Strikes Again

Self-proclaimed media sensation and suspected wife-murderer, Drew Peterson, has landed himself on the cover of People magazine, according to a report by the Chicago Sun-Times.

Peterson, the 53-year old veteran policeman, has also spoken on cable TV to Greta Van Susteren and Geraldo Reivera. He has also been on NBC's Today show with Matt Lauer twice.

In Peterson's five-page cover feature in People, he insists that he had nothing to do with the disappearance of his fourth wife, Stacy, or the 2004 death of his third wife, Kathleen Savio.

At the same time, 53 year-old Peterson says he expects to be arrested despite having done nothing wrong. "I believe the state's attorney and the cops will be under scrutiny if they don't arrest me, so I'm prepared for it," he says in the story.

In the article, Peterson also discusses what has already been covered in other interviews. He re-states the controversial comments about 23-year-old Stacy's mood swings, menstrual cycle, and her repeated demands for divorce. He says, "If she was PMSing, hungry or tired, her emotions were high."

He also says that the overwhelming media coverage of the case has been distorted. "You're only seeing my dirty laundry. You don't see all the positive things I've done," he says in the article, which hit newsstands on Thanksgiving.
