Kim Kardashian robbed at New York Airport

Before boarding a Delta flight to Las Vegas at JFK International Airport, the reality-TV star had her laptop, digital camera and $50,000 worth of diamond jewelry, including a Cartier watch, stolen out of her bags, sources close to Kardashian told E! News.

The robbery allegedly occurred when Kardashian and her sister Kourtney, were being trailed by paparazzi and wide-eyed fans.

Kardashian apparently noticed that some of her pricier things were missing after the crowd dispersed. Delta then gave Kardashian a claim ticket similar to those handed out when an airline loses or in some way damages your luggage. In the meantime, the Atlanta-based carrier is looking into the claim.

"Delta is investigating Ms. Kardashian's claim regarding the supposed loss of valuables from her baggage," the airline said in a statement to TMZ.
