Ike Turner dead at age 76
Musical architect died in his home today
Ike Turner, who helped build and shape rock music in the early 60's, died today in his suburban home in San Diego,CA, according to the Associated Press. He was 76 years old.
Unfortunately he will always be remembered as the violent, abusive, controlling husband of music icon Tina Turner, as he was portrayed in Tina Turners' 1988 biopic 'What's Love Got To Do With It". He refuted the portrayal of his life for years.
Cause of death is still unknown. More details to follow as they are released
