NORAD Tracks Santa Over Next 24 Hours
Santa's off to another busy day of gift delivery. NORAD, also referred to as theNorth American Aerospace Defense Command, is tracking Santa Claus's progress through the world as he journeys across continents, countries and states. Anyone can monitor the progress at Noradsanta.org. Every five minutes, the man in red's location is updated. Currently, Mr. Claus is at Grand Falls, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. According to VoA News, the "Norad Tracks Santa" program has been made possible mainly because of the commitment of NORAD volunteers and private donations. The missile defense department's program to track Santa has existed since 1955. Curious citizens can call (toll free) or email NORAD volunteers to hear about Santa's progress over the next hours.
