World Series of Poker

I was flipping through the TV channels last night and stumbled across the World Series of Poker. It's been a while since I have seen the program and decided to hang around a minute. Talk about some serious Poker action. By watching some of the very best players from around the world play America's card game, I was reminded of how much fun and exciting playing poker is. As much as I like to watch poker, I love to play it even more. I may not be able to make it to casinos to participate in a round of cards, but that does not keep me from playing. Thanks to the Internet I can play my favorite game with Online Poker. Even though playing online is not the same as playing in an actual casino, in many ways it is better. I quit smoking so I'm not surrounded by a thick haze of tobacco smoke usually found at the Poker table. And, my poker face is not the best in the world. But because I am playing Poker Online no one can see me grinning like a fool when I have a winning hand. Plus, by playing over the Internet I can play more than one Poker game at the same time and from the same seat. In one window I can have a game of classic Texas Hold 'Em and in another I can play 7 Card Stud. With online poker, I'm never missing out on my favorite game.
