Publisher HarperCollins is going to publish the slain Pakistani leader's memoir.

Publisher HarperCollins is in possession of a very pertinent document -- and knows it. According to Reuters, the New York Post has reported that assassinated Pakistani leader Benazir Bhutto was writing a manuscript entitled "Reconciliation: Islam, Democracy and the West." She had just given a copy of her writings to HarperCollins. Reuters reports that she delivered the manuscript to the publishing company soon before her return to Pakistan in October.

The events leading to her death are still not crystal clear, though right now it is being reported that the former leader of Pakistan suffered traumatic head wounds after a suicide bomber blew himself up at a rally.

Her friend and collaborator on the book, Mark Siegel, also recently talked about an email Bhutto sent him months ago, warning about her death. In it, Siegel says that Bhutto blamed Pervez Musharraf and his security service if she were to die soon. The letter was reportedly written a little more than a week after the first assassination attempt on Bhutto, on October 18th.
