Nicole Kidman Not Pregnant

Those rushing to celebrate the arrival of Nicole Kidman's bundle of joy may have to postpone the festivities for now. The stunning actress and her husband, country singer Keith Urban, have sent their reps out to deny the rumor. E! News reports that Kidman's Australian representative waved off the speculation, adding "It is incorrect...she must have had about 30 babies by now," with all of the rumors that have gone through the mill. The rep went on to described Kidman's current schedule being filled with time In Australia "...making a film, and her family are in Australia. She's happily ensconced away somewhere having a few days' break. It's the silly season. As far as we're concerned, it's another rumor out of London." The pregnancy rumor was started by The Daily Mail, which asserted that Kidman and Urban gave the big news to family members while celebrating the holidays this month. E! says that Kidman and Urban spent Christmastime with Kidman's family, in Australia. A baby surely would have been lovely news for Nicole, who has had mother woes of her own lately. Kidman and ex-husband Tom Cruise have two adopted children together, who apparently have been spending most of the time with their father. Of course with Cruise comes his new wife, actress Katie Holmes, with whom Cruise also had a baby recently. In a recent Parade interview, Holmes gleefully mentioned that Cruise's and Kidman's children refer to her as mom. Reps for Kidman had mentioned that incident as being troubling for real mom Nicole Kidman.
