Angelina Jolie ends Rift with Daddy!

Angelina Jolie ended her rift with father John Voight. Their on again off again father daughter relationship is back on when Jolie reaching out with a telephone call on Christmas Day.

The pair hadn't spoken since Voight told a television show in June 2002 that he hoped Jolie sought help for her "serious emotional problems."

Voight, 69, has since attempted to patch things up with his daughter, and last month said, "I'm very impressed with Angelina's work, with some of the humanitarian things, and she's a great actress.

According to the National Enquirer, Jolie called her father while spending Christmas in New Orleans with Brad Pitt and their four children. The friend reveals, "It was a short call, but it meant the world to both of them. It was something for them to build on, and Jon couldn't say enough good things about the way his daughter is conducting her life."
