Second Shot of Love For Tila Tequila
Tila Tequila is looking for love. The internet celebrity-turned star of MTV's reality show "Shot at Love With Tila Tequila" is now a single woman, reports FOX and The Canadian Press. According to CP, Tequila, 26, and her chosen love from last season, Bobby Banhart, are through. The Associated Press reports that while live on MTV during New Years eve, Tequila divulged that she was no longer in a relationship. Tequila cited a busy work schedule that Banhart "couldn't handle," and thus called it off. However, Banhart also reportedly left a message on MySpace claiming that the couple never dated, and that he couldn't even get her telephone number after the show's finale. "Shot at Love With Tila Tequila" was a reality show about a woman, Tequila, looking for love. Ten contestants, male and female, participated in the show, each hoping to be the one Tequila would choose to be her new love.FOX reports that the second season of "Shot" will be aired in Spring. Ten episodes are planned to be shot. Men and women will vie for the affection of Tequila. The first season of "Shot at Love" was surprisingly popular among youth ages 12 - 34, according to FOX Business. The series finale delivered high ratings for MTV - in fact, the highest MTV has enjoyed among all viewers since August 2002. It was ranked as the number one show in its time slot "among P12-34 across all of cable," according to FOX Business. Casting notices are being put out for Tequila's potential suitors. Tequila is known for her immense popularity on MySpace (reportedly with well over a million friends and going for two million) and her appearances in Maxim and Playboy. The model was born in Singapore to Vietnamese refugees.
