Is Bob Dylan Sexy?

Bob Dylan is the new face of Victoria's Secret. Thank God he wasn't the model.
Let's think of sexy things: music, underwear, women, men, and lingerie. All of these things are considered sexy by most people. Now let's get a little more specific. Models are sexy, especially models wearing Victoria's Secret anything. Bob Dylan's music could be sexy when it's not political or confusing. Bob Dylan is sexy. Wait, I'm sorry. Is Bob Dylan sexy?
I always thought that the Victoria's Secret ad campaigns are supposed to very sexy and alluring. It has always been models in underwear and lingerie, which almost every man drools over and women. Well, that depends on the woman. However, Tyra Banks, Heidi Klum, Gisele Bundchen, Daniela Pestova, and Adriana Lima (who is in the commercial with Dylan) are all sexy. But, is Bob Dylan sexy? I know I have now repeated myself, but I find it to be a very serious question.
Dylan's song, "Love Sick" is the music in the background. Did we need him to be in the commercial singing it, too? I think we could have all either enjoyed the song or, if it was your desire, picture Dylan singing the song. It wasn't necessary to actually have him in the commercial.
Personally, I think of Dylan and I see images of hippies, the '60s, Vietnam War, and everything else that surrounded that era. Don't get me wrong here--Dylan is a musical genius. His songwriting is probably some of the most original lyrics of his time and his voice is unique. Growing up as the daughter of two hippie parents who were at a lot of Washington protests during the Vietnam War, I know the music of the generation and I know Dylan. I respect Dylan. But come on! He is not sexy!
If you want Dylan's music to get out to a new generation then, my suggestion would be to throw it into so movies, soundtracks, or come out with a new album and do some other promotion.
This is not a personal attack against Dylan. I have already professed my fondness for his music. I personally feel if you want a sexy Dylan in your campaign you should have gone to his son, Jakob Dylan.
Whatever Dylan's reasoning for doing the campaign doesn't mean that the commercial is sexy. I personally think that Victoria's Secret should have used the song minus the aging singer. Stick to what you know works such as the models, the underwear, and lingerie and the music. It works. Men love it and women buy it.
I'm sorry, but I have to ask one more time, just to get it off my chest: Is Bob Dylan Sexy? If you think he is, then more power to you because you see something in him that not many of us do. His music however, very sexy! I guess it all works out in the end.
