Sutherland to be a Free Man
Kiefer Sutherland is set to be released from jail on Monday.
Actor Kiefer Sutherland will soon be free again. The 41-year-old "24" actor is scheduled to be released from jail Monday morning after serving forty-eight days in prison. Sutherland was incarcerated at Los Angeles' Glendale City Jail after violating probation and receiving his second DUI on December 5. Officer John Bailan said about Sutherland's stay, "Throughout his stay, he never griped, never complained. He never wanted preferential treatment from the get go, and we respect him for that."
Sutherland only received one visitor while he was serving time, his attorney. He only put his attorney and doctor on his approved visitors' list, excluding his family and friends. All of the fan mail he received was sent to his publicist.
