Mary-Kate Olsen and Heath Ledger Were Dating

The plot thickens. New sources are coming out saying that Mary-Kate Olsen and Heath Ledger were dating before the actor's untimely death on Tuesday. The sad news of the actor passing away in Manhattan on Tuesday was a shock to many, as the Australian led a relatively quiet life outside of films. Now it is being reported that Ledger and Olsen were something of an item in the previous months. This would explain why the masseuse, Diana Wolozin, who found Ledger's body, called Olsen before calling 911. Us magazine quotes the Daily News as confirming the Olsen's bodyguard said the two were indeed dating. The masseuse who found Ledger apparently called Olsen twice before calling 911, worried that things were getting too serious and that the actor had passed. Us quoted Olsen as responding to Wolozin's second telephone call expressing worry that the actor had died, with "I already have people coming over." People quoted a source saying, "Mary-Kate and Heath were casually dating for three months before Heath's death... They were hooking up, but neither were particularly interested in making it exclusive." Olsen is one half of the Olsen twin duo, actresses known for playing the role of Michelle Tanner on the late 1980s/early 1990s show, Full House. Forbes ranks the twins as among the top 20 richest women, estimated to be worth around $100 million. Ledger, 28, was a charismatic and intense actor known for his eclectic roles and rugged looks.
