According to Access Hollywood, Christopher Nolan wrote a poetic tribute to Heath Ledger for Newsweek. He worked with Ledger as director of the Batman movie “The Dark Knight” in which Ledger played the character of Joker. While editing the film, Nolan said choosing which Ledger scenes to cut was a grueling challenge. Ledger reportedly faced personal difficulties while portraying Joker and experienced trouble sleeping partly due to this role. The movie is set to be released this summer.
