American Idol Runner-Up Weds
Katharine McPhee wed her long time boyfriend.
The Associated Press reported that one of the American Idol runners-up has gotten hitched. The runner-up is Katharine McPhee, who was on the popular show in 2005 and lost to Taylor Hicks.
McPhee, 23, has married her fiance, Nick Cokas, whom she started dating shortly before she auditioned for Idol. Cokas is 42 years old and a music producer. They became engaged last year. McPhee said that Nick "is the love of my life. This is a once in a lifetime occasion and everything is just perfect."
The couple exchanged vows in the Beverly Hills Presbyterian Church in front of 305 friends and family. Guests at the wedding included two other American Idol hopefuls from her season, Kellie Pickler and Mandisa.
