Miss Nevada Arrested in Las Vegas
A former Miss Nevada USA has been arrested in Las Vegas for assaulting a police officer.
Katie Rees, a former Miss Nevada USA, has been arrested. TMZ reports that FOX 5 in Los Vegas broke the news. In the early hours of Wednesday morning, Rees was pulled over for a traffic violation, for which she would've only been cited. TMZ quotes the Las Vegas police as characterizing Rees as becoming "physically aggressive towards the officer" upon her arrest. Access Hollywood reports that the Clark County jail website listed Rees as having been booked on "driving with no proof of insurance, driving with suspended license plates, speeding and resisting a police officer."
The former Miss Nevada had the official title briefly, until certain photos were found of the woman, and her title was taken away.
