I love to play Poker with my closest friends on Saturday night. For a few hours it's just us guys sharing jokes and stories as we ante up, call each others' bluffs, and try to leave with as much, if not more, money that we started with. Our Saturday night "tournaments" are great when among friends, but sometimes I like to play serious Poker. For that, I used to schedule a day trip to the nearest casino or book a whole weekend in Las Vegas. Not anymore. Now I play Online Poker. It took some getting used to since there is no way to see if someone is advertising their hand or bluff. But once I got the hang of it, playing Poker Online is just as fun as playing with an actual deck and chips. Because when you get down to it, Poker is still poker, be it virtual or otherwise. The rules are still the same, and the concept hasn't changed any: win as much as you can. Since I began playing online, the wins have been rolling in. Maybe it's because I'm playing a casino-sized game in the comfort of my living room, or when I am in the mood. Or maybe it's because no one can read my face to see if I'm bluffing or if I've got a strong hand. If you like poker as I much as I do, then ante up at the virtual casino.
