Wilson Back to the Big Screen

Wilson returns in "Marley and Me."

The funny-man is back!

After Owen Wilson's now famous suicide attempt, the crooked-nosed comedian is ready to hit the silver screen.

Wilson was hospitalized in late August last year after Santa Monica police officers responded to a medical aid call at the actor's home.

After keeping a low profile since the incident, Wilson is returning to the spotlight since the attempted suicide stint.

Early last summer, Wilson signed on to star alongside Jennifer Aniston in the 20th Century Fox comedy Marley & Me, but shooting was brought to a stand-still, with questions circling of whether the film would even be completed.

However, filming has finally been scheduled to commence from March to mid-May, and the comedy is set to be released this Christmas.

Marley & Me author, John Grogan, told People, "I'm thrilled they're starting production on this. It's been a long time coming and I really couldn't be happier on that. I read the script and I like it. I think it's really true to the book."
