Eminem to Release Memoirs

The rapper's representatives confirmed that the popular rapper is indeed writing his own memoirs.

Rapper Marshall Mathers, more commonly known as Eminem, will release a book later this year, MTV News reports, but details are scarce at this point in time.

According to a report in Britain's New Musical Express published Tuesday, Bristish publisher Orion Books and Eminem will partner to release the rapper's memoirs, titled Eminem: The Way I Am.

The book will reportedly include hand-drawn sketches, lyrics and journal notes, in addition to rare photos of the rapper.

A representative for the publisher confirmed that the Detroit-born rapper's memoirs would be released on Oct. 16, but Eminem's reps denied having a set release date for the book. In the same statement, his reps destroyed Orion Books for delivering inaccurate information about many different things, including the aforementioned release date.

Eminem's past year has been very busy.

In December of 2007, he was rushed to the hospital because of complications from a previous illness with pneumonia. He has also been all over the tabloids for putting on a great deal of weight, which has been blown out of proportion, according to those close to Eminem.
