Ceiling comes down on Luke Perry performance
Written by: Hero Luke Perry, best known for his breakout role on Beverly Hills 90210, made his feature film debut starring in "8 Seconds" in 1994. Since then the talented actor has performed in numerous TV, film and stage productions.
The stage version of the 1980s hit movie stars Mr. Perry as Harry, the role made famous by Billy Crystal, and former Buffy the Vampire Killer actress Alyson Hannigan as Sally played by Meg Ryan in the film.

Audiences were enjoying Luke Perry in When Harry Met Sally at a West End Theater in London, when bits of the ceiling came down on them. Mr. Perry abandoned his role and leaped into the auditorium to personally help fans out of harm's way. Thirteen people suffered cuts and bruises.
Early reports that the chandelier dropped four feet proved incorrect. The Theatre Royal Haymarket canceled performances for Monday and Tuesday to investigate the cause of the accident. The 18th Century Theater was last refurbished in 1994. The £1.3 million project included art restoration to the ceiling and improvements to the central chandelier.
