Black Sabbath Reunites

Three of the four original members prepare for Ozzfest

Black Sabbath fans have something to look forward to this summer: a Black Sabbath reunion. The band, which last played together in 2001, is reuniting for Ozzfest, according to the Ozzfest website.

Ozzy's solo-band member, Mike Borden, will join original Black Sabbath members Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, and Geezer Butler for 26 shows, beginning July 10 in Hartford, Connecticut.

The Ozzfest website attributed the reunion to an "enormous public demand for a Black Sabbath tour", following the release of the CD/DVD "Black Box: The Complete Original Black Sabbath (1970-1978)". Black Sabbath will headline the tour, and will share the main stage with Slayer, Judas Priest, Dimmu Borgir, Superjoint Ritual, and Zakk Wylde's Black Label Society.
