Beckham cheating on Posh Spice?

British newspapers are buzzing over Rebecca Loos's claim that English soccer star David Beckham had an affair with her. Beckham, who is married to pop singer Victoria Beckham, formerly Posh of the Spice Girls, has called the former personal assistant's claims "ludicrous." Malaysian-born model Sarah Marbeck has also said she had an affair with David Beckham.

Victoria stands by her husband, telling the public that Beckham prefers to stay in and watch gardening shows rather than get drunk with women and watch porn.

Despite the newspapers' enthusiasm about the subject, the British public seems somewhat disgusted with the coverage. A poll conducted by ICM showed that sixty-nine percent of those who responded would favor a law that protected the privacy of celebrities and the royal family.
