Dannielynn Sole Heir to Anna Nicole Smith Fortune

Just when it seemed like the tragic story of Anna Nicole Smith and her young daughter had come to a peaceful end, there is a new development. Dannielynn, the sole surviving child of former Playboy playmate/actress Anna Nicole Smith, was today declared the sole heir to Smith's fortune. Dannielynn, 18 months old, was at the center of a controversy over who her biological father was. Larry Birkhead was later ruled as her father, and as such, both Birkhead and Howard K. Stern will act as trustees on her behalf. Smith's 2001 will originally assumed that Smith would not be having any more children, but in the case of more, she had expressed a desire that the new child or children would share equally in the fortune left to her sole son, Daniel. Daniel, 20, tragically died less than a week after his mother gave birth to Dannielynn. The toddler could potentially inherit millions of dollars, including millions bequeathed to Smith by her former husband, billionaire J. Howard Marshall.
