Barron Hilton Charged with DUI

Barron Hilton has formally been charged with DUI.

After being arrested in Malibu last month, the eighteen-year-old has been charged with four misdemeanors - driving under the influence, driving with a blood-alcohol level above the 0.08 percent legal limit, unlawful use of a license and unlicensed driving.

With his bail originally set at $5,000, The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department increased it to $20,000 under early suspicions of the Hilton possessing a forged California driver's license, which were later confirmed to be correct.

His arraignment is set for April 14, with the teen facing a possible six months in jail for each count. But for now the Hilton can relax in the comfort of his own home after his friends pooled together the $20,000 to post his bail - his family refusing to put up the money.
