The Game Is Back on the Streets

Hip-Hop rapper, “The Game,” got out of the joint early due to overcrowded jails.
According to E! Online, the rapper has been released from a Los Angeles County jail after serving eight days of a 60-day sentence for pulling a pistol during a schoolyard, pickup basketball game.
The Game, whose real name is Jayceon Taylor, was released from the Twin Towers Correctional Facility at 11:44 p.m. Sunday, according to the L.A. County Sheriff's Department, which typically releases well-behaved inmates early, due to overcrowded jails. The rapper reported to jail on Mar. 3 to begin serving his time.
He had pleaded no contest last month to a felony count of possession of a firearm in a school zone. In exchange for his plea, prosecutors dropped two other charges: making criminal threats and exhibiting a firearm in the presence of a peace officer.
According to the police report, Game got into a fight with a member of the opposing team and then retrieved a gun from his Cadillac Escalade and threatened to kill the man.
Game's attorney, Shawn Chapman Holley, was unavailable for comment.
