Janet Jackson Says Hello to Flu, Bye to SNL
Singer Janet Jackson was admitted to the hospital on Monday with the flu.
Singer Janet Jackson won't be flexing her vocal chords next Saturday. Jackson's representative explained that Janet had experienced flu-like symptoms: "She's been battling this flu, like everyone else." Jackson's representative told the press that Janet will indeed be dropping out of her scheduled Saturday Night Live performance this weekend, due to her illness. Jackson reportedly visited Los Angeles's revered Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on Monday evening, after coming down with the flu. Jackson has a new album out and was going to appear on SNL to drum up publicity for it.
