Heather Locklear’s Suicide Stint

Locklear’s apparent suicide attempt rebutted by rep.
A recording has just been released by the Ventura County Fire Department that claimed Heather Locklear had apparently attempted suicide.
On Saturday night a man claiming to be Locklear’s medical doctor made calls to 911 concerned that his apparent patient was suicidal, prompting paramedics to rush to the actress’s house immediately.
During the call, the apparent doctor claimed, “I have a patient and I have a feeling she's suicidal, and I want someone to go there. I called in earlier through 911 to L.A. and was transferred to Ventura County, I'm not sure if that call went through or not. I want to know if someone has gone there and that she's OK.”
Apparently, he was concerned that Locklear would attempt to overdose on depression medication.
However, in an interview with UsMagazine.com, Locklear’s rep denied her client’s poor mental state.
“Heather is fine. She never requested medical assistance and did not place a 911 call. Nor did anyone from her house call 911 or place a call requesting medical assistance. No psychiatrist called 911 on Ms. Locklear’s behalf.”
According to People, Locklear was talking to a friend about something she was unhappy with, and the friend overreacted.
A spokesman for the Ventura County Sheriff's Department told the magazine, “Once on the scene, our deputies took no further action because no one at the residence was in distress or needed medical or mental-health emergency assistance,” adding, “We don't believe the caller was lying or fabricating the information provided at the time.”
