I'll tell you something Horton didn't hear this weekend: a boo. Horton Hears a Who! came in at first place at the box office this weekend, handily beating out such competition as 10,000 B.C. That film was the previous week's box office leader.
The animated telling of Dr. Seuss's beloved Horton Hears a Who! earned an estimated $45.1 million, according to estimates from the Associated Press. The film, apparently a family favorite over the weekend, features the voices of such popular comics as Jim Carrey, Steve Carell and Seth Rogen.
The story centers around the efforts of elephant Horton to basically respect others, regardless of size. Horton is on a roll!
