CNN's news anchor, Anderson Cooper, returned to work Wednesday after having a cancerous mole removed from under his left eye two days earlier.
Cooper's spokeswoman, Shimrit Sheetrit, said that there was no indication that the cancer had spread.
Cooper blogged about his surgery Wednesday, while he was following presidential hopeful Barack Obama, for a special edition of Anderson Cooper 360.
"I hadn't planned on mentioning this," said Cooper. "But I still have stitches and you'll no doubt notice them. ... Don't want you to think I got into a fistfight with Charlie Rose."
