Richie Sambora Arrested on DUI Charge

Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora arrested in Laguna Beach on suspicion of Driving Under the Influence.
The Associated Press reports that Bon Jovi lead guitarist Richie Sambora has been arrested in Laguna Beach, Calif., for investigation of driving under the influence of alcohol.
According to Sgt. Jason Kravetz, famed guitarist Richie Sambora was arrested just before 11 p.m. Tuesday after police allegedly saw him “weaving” in a black Hummer. The Sergeant commented, "At this point there's no indication of drugs." Kravetz’s reports also confirm that there were three females, including two minors, in the vehicle at the time of the incident.
According to TMZ.com, Sambora reportedly failed a number of field sobriety tests before being arrested on a DUI charge.
Concluding his arrest, Sambora was booked at the Laguna Beach jail and later released around 4 a.m. Wednesday. He has since been given notice to appear May 7 on one misdemeanor count of driving under the influence.
Bon Jovi's publicist was not immediately available for comment.
